These systems varies from standard chassis, special 19-inch units, radio & server racks, up to air & water cooled 19-inch boxes. In the past lots of 19-inch products itself were also build ruggedized. Currently 19-inch products are mostly bought standsrd off the shelf, because of their short lifetimes. To make them ruggedized implies that this equipment has to be stored in a ruggedized environment. One of the in-house departments is specialised in design, build and maintain 19-inch products for it's customer. Program examples of 19-inch equipment involved are:

KP Special Projects has more than 100 year experience in its branch. Roots is System Integration. In parallel, over the years KPSP also started to design, build, test and maintain it’s own products. Special is that KPSP has all different technical modules under one roof, which makes KPSP attractive as Chain Manager (One Stop) for it’s customer. KPSP has all Quality Certificates required for it’s task (e.g. ISO 9001/14001 & AQAP). In addition, KPSP is familiar with MOD specifications and environmental requirements.
